ritten ans Ufer der Nacht,
sie lauschten dem Tamburin des Mondes,
das die Stille bewacht.
Sie zogen den Schnee mit Netzen an Land
und schmückten ihn mit Dukaten.
Und ihre Kappen leuchteten
wie Segel von Piraten.
